Missouri Valley, Inc. is a General and Mechanical Contractor based in Amarillo, Texas. The management team has the experience and training to manage projects from very small to highly complex multi-million dollar facilities with emphasis on meeting customer needs while maintaining a high level of quality and production. Our projects include Task Order, Firm Bid and Best Value types, and further include both construction only and design-build.
The present staff has worked together to perform numerous projects at the Pantex Plant and to construct such outstanding projects as coal fired power units for Southwestern Public Service Co., Inc., as well as such diverse projects as installation of a turbine at Texas Tech, replacing underground fuel storage tanks at the Amarillo International Airport, upgrading Water Treatment facilities for the City of Amarillo and for the City of Plainview, major rebuild energy saving projects for Owens Corning and major remodel and turnaround projects for other industrial customers.

Missouri Valley has performed large structural construction in industrial plants for over 40 years with its own forces. Several of these have included structural steel, equipment foundations, setting of equipment including erection and assembly of turbines and generators, installation of boilers, baghouses, silos, ash handling equipment, chemical feed systems, water treatment systems, prestressed and concrete construction. MVI employees have performed bridge and jib crane erection, disassembly and modification for the Pantex Plant, Southwestern Public Service Co., ASARCO, Owens Corning and others. Missouri Valley installs steel, fiberglass, aluminum, stainless steel, PVC, HDPE, concrete and double walled containment piping. In addition to construction and maintenance, MVI has performed deconstruction activities including deconstruction and relocation of turbines, fans, motors and two entire power generating facilities.
